Hi, I'm Sonya and I adore a good coffee house. Not just because of the rich velvety lattes but also for the way it connects people. Everything I do is, and always has been about meaningful connection. And that's what I love to photograph - real people, sharing authentic moments.
The ones that move me most are the in-between moments when people are open, vulnerable, and unposed. Before I was a photographer I was an interior designer and marketing professional. Both industries taught me the power of noticing, uncovering, and encouraging connection.
I cannot imagine anything more beautiful than the people in our lives and the relationships we have built with them. I believe that's why I'm drawn to this work, because it gives me the opportunity to serve people by preserving what matters most - their story.
